I am so pleased to announce that my first self-published book is now at the printer and print copies are available for pre-order!
Landing is a collection of 8 top down sweater designs from me and 4 accessory designs from guest designers. The knits are in some of my favorite yarns from smaller yarn companies and hand dyers. There are a variety of yarn weights used, from fingering all the way to bulky.
The photography is by the uber talented Carrie Bostick Hoge, the graphic design was done by the amazing Mary Joy Gumayagay, and it was all tech edited by the fantastic Dawn Catanzaro.
Throughout the week, the designs will be previewed here and on Ravelry, a few each day.
Here are the first designs:
Deep Water (the cover sweater)
This warm cardigan can double as a great fall jacket. Neck and front bands are worked in seed stitch as part of the body: no need to pick up stitches! The simple style makes it easy to knit and to wear; overlapping fronts keep cold winds away.
