Rosy Days (an e-booklet)

I just finished up my second e-booklet for Winged Knits, it is called Rosy Days. Rosy Days is a collection of  3 top down sweaters knit in hand dyed yarns and features photography by Carrie Bostick Hoge and art work by Ethan MacDonald. The 3 patterns are also available for individual purchase, but without the art work and extra photos:(

Rosabell

A lightweight, three-quarter sleeve, open cardigan with a simple lace collar and ribbed trims at the bottom and cuffs. Rosabell is worked in Stockinette Stitch, from the top down, in one piece with raglan shaping. The stitches for the collar are then picked up and worked in an easy lace pattern.

Finished Measurement at Bust: 30 ¾ (33 ¼, 36 ¾, 39 ¼, 42 ¾, 46, 49 ¼, 52 ¾, 56)”

Primo fingering by The Plucky Knitter (75% merino, 20% cashmere, 5% nylon; 100 gram hank = approx 385 yards)
• 3 (3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4) hanks color Indy’s Silhouette (MC)
• 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1) hank color Thornfield Hall (CC)

Approx yards :
MC– 820 (870, 930, 1010, 1090, 1180, 1260, 1340, 1420) yards
CC- 220 (220, 235, 235, 245, 245, 255, 255, 265) yards

Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch.

Gemini

A reversible sweater with three-quarter sleeves that may be worn as a cardigan with the lace detail in the back and buttons in the front, or as a pullover with the lace detail in the front and buttoned up the back. Gemini is worked from the top down, in one piece, with raglan shaping and worked in button bands.

Finished Measurements at bust: 30 ¼ (32 ¼, 35 ¾, 39, 41 ¾, 45, 48 ¼, 51 ¾, 55)”

Materials:
Valley Yarns Semi Solid Sock yarn hand dyed by The Kangaroo Dyer 100% merino, 382yds/ 349m (100 gram skein)
• 3 (4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5) skeins color Velvet
• Approx yards: 1100 (1200, 1275, 1350, 1425, 1500, 1650, 1750, 1850) yards

Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch.

Bella Roma

A long sleeve cardigan with a little lace detail down the sleeves, three buttons at the top, optional patch pockets, and seed stitch trims. Bella Roma is worked from the top down, in one piece, with raglan shaping and in a worsted weight yarn.

Finished Measurements at bust: 32 ½ (36, 40, 43 ¼, 46 ¾, 50 ¼, 53 3/4, 57 ¼)”

Materials
WW Kashmir
by The Woolen Rabbit (80% merino, 10% nylon, 10% cashmere; 115 gram skein = approx 175 yards)
• 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8 ) skeins color Cracklin’ Rosie
• Approx yards- 750 (800, 870, 970, 1030, 1100, 1170, 1250) yards

Gauge: 18 sts and 26 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch.

  3. Beautiful! I can’t pick a favourite. At first it was Roma bella, now I think it’s Gemini. But I can see myself in all of them!
    (And in Breezy blues for that matter! I like a lot of your work but I am especially liking these little ebook designs so much!)
