Georgia

The Quince and Co e-letter this week features a new spring design from me called Georgia.

Georgia is a flow-y little sleeveless Spring cardigan. She is knit from the bottom up in one piece with the buttonbands worked in, split for the body and sleeves, joined at the shoulders with a Three Needle Bind Off and then the remaining stitches are joined and worked in rib to form the collar.

Georgia maybe worn open with the fronts allowed flow or buttoned up to form a cowl neck drape-y front.

She is knit in Tern by Quince and Co., this stunning American wool and tussah silk blend is super soft and produces a wonderful strong fabric that has amazing drape at this gauge. Because the two fibers take the dyes differently, it has a lovely slightly heathered look.

For more info, here is the Ravelry page link and here is the Quince and Co link.

Thank you for visiting and I hope that you are enjoying weather as lovely as the weather is in Portland, ME is today!
