Brooklet and 15% off patterns ( and 10% donation to ExCL)

Happy New Year everyone!

Posting 2 days in a row!  I figured it was okay because it was in 2 different years…..

Here is my first Winged Knits pattern release of 2011:


Brooklet is a long cowl worked in 2 colors (one for the inside in stockinette stitch and one for the outside in a simple lace pattern) that may be worn open and long

Wrapped twice around the neck

Or folded in half and looped through

Brooklet is a fun and simple  knit worked in one piece in stockinette stitch and then an easy lace pattern.

Yarn Info:

Bugga! from The Sanguine Gryphon (70% superwash merino, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon; 4 oz hank = 412 yds)

•            1 hank color (grays) Starry Night Cracker (Color A)

•            1 hank color (teals) Tulip Tree Beauty (Color B)


•            One 29” circular size US 5 (3.75 mm).

•            One 29” circular size US 6 (4 mm). Or size to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch with larger needles.
