Genevieve is a very simple top down lightweight raglan. Knit in Quince and Co. Chickadee, Genevieve begins at the neck with a very easy lace pattern and then the majority of the pullover is knit in stockinette stitch. She has waist shaping and 1 X 1 rib trims at the cuffs and bottom of the body.
I designed G with dreams of Fall in mind. I really wanted a sweater that was substantial enough to keep warm, yet light enough to easily be worn under a little fall jacket. The wider lace edged neck adds an easy and pretty detail to a simple and fun to knit pullover.
If you are on the list to receive the Quince e-letter, you may have seen this photo!
AND, because I can’t keep my hands off of Quince yarns for more than a minute- I have a pattern in Quince and Co. Osprey that I will be self publishing the pattern for any day now. It is called Arboralea and here is a photo. ( This photo and all the photos above were taken by Carrie Bostick Hoge)
