Wool, book four

The fourth ebook collaboration between Melissa LaBarre and I and Quince and Co. is here!

The cover sweater above is a lovely top down cardigan/jacket in Puffin by Melissa.

And here are my two designs for Wool 4-

Sylvia is a top down cardi with the buttonband running diagonally down the front and a patch pocket with a sweet little cable. It is worked in Finch and the only seams are for the pocket.

Finished Measurements at bust- 31 (34 ¼, 36 ¼, 39 ¾, 42 ¼, 45 ¾, 48 ¼, 51 ¾, 54 ¼)”

Materials:
Finch by Quince and Co (100% American wool; 50 skein = approx 221 yards)
• 6 (7, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10) skeins Storm
Needles:
• One 29” circular (circ) needle size US 4 (3.5 mm). (Body is worked flat, circ needle is used to accommodate large number of sts)
• One set double pointed needles (dpns) size US 4 (3.5 mm). (for sleeves)
Or size to obtain gauge.
Notions:

• Large stitch holders or waste yarn
• Tapestry needle
• Eight 5/8” buttons
• Cable needle (cn) (for pocket)

River is also top down, it is knit in the round and is seamless. Worked in Osprey, this is a very quick knit!

Bust measurements: 33 (35 ¼, 38 ¼, 41 ½, 44 ¾ , 48, 51 ¼ , 54 ½ , 57 ½ )”

Yarn
Osprey by Quince and Co. (100% American wool, 100 gram hank = approx 170 yards)
• 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7, 7) hanks color Bird’s Egg
Needles
• One 16” circular size US 10 (6 mm). (For begin of Yoke)
• One 29” circular size US 10 (6 mm). (For Body)
• One 29” circular size US 10 ½ (6.5 mm) (For Bottom Rib)
• One set of double pointed needles size US 10 (6 mm). (For Sleeves)
Notions:
• Stitch markers
• Stitch holders or waste yarn
• Optional- Three ¾” buttons.
